As per Our Story Mediterranean Foods Nelson Wholesale has been operating for 18 years, over that time the business has evolved and changed from a retail outlet on Halifax Street to purely wholesale operating out of our current warehouse facility. We work hard to ensure that our service is the best and are proud of the awards and accolades we have received to date. More recently we have expanded our operations and extended the family network allowing us to become a more complete supply partner to the region's hospitality industry.
2002
Mediterranean Foods Nelson opens a retail store on Halifax Street next to the library
2003
Expanded to the Marlborough region servicing the hospitality industry
2004
Received Outstanding Supplier Award at the Nelson Hospitality Awards
Moved the wholesale distribution business to a large warehouse facility in Richmond
2006
Received Outstanding Supplier Award at the Nelson Hospitality Awards
Sold the retail shop to focus solely on the wholesale distribution business
2009
Received Outstanding Supplier Award at the Nelson Hospitality Awards
Relocated the business to Brightwater
Sold the Marlborough business to put sole focus into the Nelson/Tasman region

Our online website is launched - enhancing customers ability to order online

Luke and Ella head up the key role of warehouse operations ensuring our stock count and deliveries meet the increasing demand throughout the region

Our modern fleet of freezer vans arrive capable of running at -22 degrees ensuring we meet all the new food safety requirements with frozen and chilled products
Sean joins the team moving back from Wellington to take on a lead Sales, Marketing and Customer Service role as we become a more complete supply partner to the Nelson/Tasman region
