After an extensive sourcing selection process, New Zealand King Salmon has chosen a partner headquartered in Denmark where a large proportion of the world’s salmon is smoked. The fish is farmed in Norway, transported fresh to mainland Europe and processed in world-class facilities just across the Danish/German border in Germany. We’ve visited our partner and seen first-hand, their focus on end-to-end quality, which aligns perfectly with New Zealand King salmon’s award-winning food quality processes. This Seasmoke Cold Smoked Salmon 500g is perfect for a wide application of uses from bagels to quiches to salads. Please note: Seasmoke products are sold on an ‘e’ or ‘average weight’ basis. This means that the total carton weight will always match or exceed the expected 5kg of salmon net weight. A small tolerance is acceptable on a per-pack basis. This is common practice globally and New Zealand’s rules are the same as Europe, where Seasmoke is packed. In a 5kg box, the customer is guaranteed to receive 5kg of salmon but there is a small tolerance (around +/- 5g per pack. Packaging may look different - unlabelled.
